Meet Zephr

Zephr was born to Madeline in 2024.  He is a very friendly, handsome guy who does great with the other cats here at MCHS.  He arrived on 3/29/25 as an owner surrender.  Madeline, his mom, came with another litter of kittens also!  He has always been an indoor cat. Zephr is neutered and current on shots and dewormings.  He has tested neg for feline leukemia/FIV.  Adoption fee is $80 with an approved application which is available at mchs.rescuegroups.org.  We will review and get in touch to set up a meeting time.  You must be 21 to adopt from MCHS and a pet carrier is required at the time of adoption.  Our address is 101 22 ST SE, Austin, MN.  We are located off of I-90 via exit 180B to 218 SOUTH.  We are just past our local airport.  THANKS.

Adoption Process
Starts with written Application form which includes questions regarding housing situation (rent/own etc. renters require landlord approval), History of previous or current pets, Vet information, Animal housing information (cats must be indoors, dogs fenced yard etc.). Fees for Cat Adoptions are $50 (or $75 for two) Dogs vary based on breed, size, etc. Average is $125.
