Meet Loaf
Loaf-this big guy, you don’t just get a slice, you get the whole package! He’s approximately 6-7 years old. He is in one of our community rooms adjusting nicely, so he gets along with other cats great! Some of the more dominant cats in the room, he stays away from, but luckily, there’s only one. He does not like dogs and will run and hide or growl and hiss, and kids he usually avoids. He would do fine in a home with older kids who have boundaries and respect, and can give him the confidence that not all kids should be treated the same. He’s a big boy weighing just shy of 17 pounds. That just means there is more to love! He is so sweet, and we haven’t heard him hardly make a peep since he has been in our care. Giving him vaccines, cleaning him up, he is a very tolerant kitty. He could definitely benefit from a diet, so we will start our work on that, but he’s a happy man. He likes to lounge around, not much of the playing type, but loves his cuddles. When he’s done, he will simply walk away, and go lay down somewhere else by himself. He’s such a nice boy, so we have every ounce of hope that he will find a loving home soon! If you would like to meet me, please visit our website and complete the pre-adoption application. Once it has been processed then we can make a date to get together! All cats are spayed/neutered (deposit required if too young), vaccinated, dewormed, flea and tick treated, microchipped and more before adoption. Our adoption policies include: Application, Vet reference, Landlord approval & Criminal Background Check. HSBC has a policy of not declawing, which is included on our Adoption Contract. We do not do same day adoptions. We request that you call for an appointment after your application has been approved to come and visit the cat of your choice. Please visit our website for additional information. The online application can be found at: https://hsburnettcty.org/adoption-guidelines/
