Howard is an adorable male tabby with white kitten. He came into rescue with 4 siblings, all named after characters from the Big Bang Theory. The litter was rescued from under a garden shed. They were born in the spring of 2023. Howard will likely be a bit nervous moving to a new home. It would be ideal for him to go to a home who has experience with cats or who is willing to be patient with him while he learns to be comfortable in his new surroundings. He is great with other cats and would love to go home with one of his siblings. When new people come to visit, Howard will initially hide but quickly come out, show some dissatisfaction of the stranger's presence, but will then choose a corner in which to observe the newcomer. If you are wondering about Howard's face in his photos, he was annoyed at foster mom requesting another photo shoot. How rude! Once Howard is comfortable, he will welcome the occasional cuddle session and will melt in his current foster mom's arms for a short while. But overall, he will likely be a cat that will prefer to be in the same room observing his human from a distance. Howard will only be adopted as an indoor family pet. He has been neutered, tested negative for fe-leuk/FIV, has been dewormed and is up to date on all his age-appropriate kitten shots. For more information on Howard or to adopt him, please text any question to foster mom Jackie at 320-761-0256, or you can apply at https://bit.ly/HSSCJackiesapp. Howard's adoption fee is $75 plus tax ($80.16) but if he is adopted with another kitten the fee is reduced to $50 per kitten ($106.88).
Adoption Process
We spay/neuter all of our adult pets before adoption. Adoption fees begin at $95 for dogs, but vary depending upon the desirability of the dog, purebreds, etc. Each foster home interviews and decides upon the adoptive families for the pet.
