Meet Pablo
If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please complete an Adoption Request Form. This is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. To learn more about our adoption process, please visit our Adoption Process page on our website at www.rescuecrew.org.Greetings future forever family! My name is Pablo and I am one sophisticated cool cat! Actually, I would prefer you address me as “Sir Pablo” since I’m pretty sure I’m royalty (at heart at least)! When I first came into foster, I was a little scared and unsure. But now I've become quite confident and like to strut my stuff around the house because I am one handsome fella! I love people and get along with everyone I've met in my foster home. I might be a bit reserved at first, but once I decide I like you get ready for all the kitty love! I give kisses, head buts and enjoy snuggling with my humans. I love lap time and will even snuggle your head if you let me! I like to play with toy mice and automated toys (especially the one with a feather that pops out). As a member of royalty, I am very clean and am a good litter box user. I only scratch on my scratching post or cardboard, never furniture. When I am not playing or snuggling, I love sitting on the very top perch of my kitty condo, keeping watch on the comings and goings outside.Who Do I Get Along With? Kids: Respectful kids over age eight would be preferred. Dogs: If they leave me alone, I’m cool with them. Cats: Unknown but probably fine following a slow, careful introduction.A Few More Things:My first human died, and my second human was away for work a lot which made me sad. I have a lot of love to share and really want a home with a human who can spend some time with me. Because of this, they tell me I need a home where my humans either work from home or are retired. Is that you?Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption. The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a physical location where you can stop by to visit the animals - we require the completion of an Adoption Request Form prior to meeting any of our adoptable pets in foster care. For the most complete information regarding this animal, and all of our adoptable pets, please ensure you are visiting our website directly at www.RescueCrew.org. You can also access the necessary online forms here as well.
Adoption Process
Adoption applications must be completed, which include information regarding references and vet clinic information, DL #, names, etc. Reference checks are conducted and when necessary vetting information verified. Discussion about the animal interested in to best assure appropriate and proper placement is made, and educational information regarding how to manage a multi-dog/animal household, slow and proper introductions and the importance of a shut-down period to help the animal acclimate to new surroundings. A "meet and greet" with the animal is required and whenever possible all residents of the household should be present. Home checks may, but not always, be necessary. After adoption applications is approved a contract is required, where we also stipulate that if for any reason the adopter determines they no longer want or can care for the animal we require it be returned to us, with the exception of documented bite history or potentially dangerous or dangerous dog designations. Adoption fees vary, but are comparable to or less than other local rescues and typically are $300 or less for a canine and $150 for a feline.
