Meet Chicken
Chicken is a 5-month-old super energetic kitten looking for his forever home! Chicken is a crazy cat! He's super energetic. He loves racing all over the house, up and down cat trees, and thru tunnels. He enjoys all toys but really loves spring toys and wand toys. If Chicken doesn't get the enrichment he needs from either toys or engagement with other animals in the house, he does try to play with his person, which means he sometimes tries to play-bite. His youthful energy is easily re-directed, but because of this, he may not do well in a house with young children. Chicken seems to love every cat he meets, even if they don't love him, so he may thrive with a cat-friendly dog that will be able to play with him. After Chicken plays like crazy, this little guy needs a good nap. You'll find him curled up either in your lap or in a cat tree nook. It doesn't seem like he's asleep for long, because once he hears a noise, he'll pop his head up to see what is going on and if he needs to participate. Chicken also loves jumping into his human's lap to be held and cuddled. He will even give you some kisses (in the form of licks) to show you he loves you. And don't be surprised if he gently puts his paw on your cheek to show how much he adores you. Chicken also has the best purr and will use his little motor to wake you up with some morning snuggles. Chicken needs to be adopted to a home with at least one other young cat—someone he can be crazy and play with. Chicken does have an available friend in his foster home—his pal Horseradish, who is also up for adoption. This happy little guy currently lives a single-family home with one person and seven other cats. He needs a forever home that offers lots of enrichment for him, space for him to run and play, and with another feline friend (either from Pet Haven or an active young resident cat). If you're ready for some squawking good shenanigans this winter, why not invite the adorable Chicken into your family? Interested in adopting or learning more about this cat? Please fill out Pet Haven’s adoption application: http://bit.ly/2fd9U2Fpethavenmnwww..org/adopt. All ages and breeds are a best estimate. Adoption fees include a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%. All cats have received comprehensive veterinary care and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV unless otherwise stated. Cats are up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped. Please note there may be additional follow-up visits.
