Meet River

River is a 5-month-old, super-lovey kitten looking for his forever home! River is a lover! He will reach out to me with his little orange paw, tap at me as I get near him, and meow in his little kitty voice and look up at me with his orange eyes to let me know that he wants to be picked up and held. He snuggles against my neck and purrs loudly and sometimes plays with my hair. He's a big sweetheart! He also loves to run and jump and play with bouncy toys. River is a bit of an explorer as well, and always wants to be where the people are. This handsome guy gets dry food in the morning and then he plays with catnip toys for a bit, followed by a cozy nap in the kitten pile with his siblings. In the evening, he gets wet food, followed by more playtime with his buddies and then another nap. This boy has a lot of energy—play hard, sleep hard is his motto! River lives in a room in a house with his 4 kitten besties and 3 young cats who sometimes come to visit. There are two adults in the home, and River behaves very well around adults and other cats (children and dogs are still unknown). This guy is very loving. River would love to be with people who enjoy snuggles, big purrs, and who are around a lot to give him plenty of snuggles and attention. He would be a good match for a family of all ages and people who like to play. As a youngster, River will have to go home with one of his siblings or to a home with an active young resident feline friend who can help him learn how to cat. Cats are up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped.
