Meet Ben

Ben came to us on 3/19/25 as one of many rescues made by a private citizen.  He has lived with Screech, Petey and Mr. Kringle.  Ben is a very regal-looking boy who was born in early 2024.  He is neutered and current on shots. He has tested neg for feline leukemia/FIV.  He has also lived his entire life as an indoor only cat.  Ben is now ready for adoption and his adoption fee is $80.  A pet carrier is required at the time of adoption and you must be 21 to adopt from MCHS.  To meet Ben or any of our cats, go to mchs.rescuegroups.org and complete and submit our online application.  We will review and get in touch to set up a meeting time.  Our address is 101 22 ST SE, Austin, MN.  We are located off of  I 90 via exit 180B to 218 S.We are just past our local airport.  THANKS.  

Adoption Process
Starts with written Application form which includes questions regarding housing situation (rent/own etc. renters require landlord approval), History of previous or current pets, Vet information, Animal housing information (cats must be indoors, dogs fenced yard etc.). Fees for Cat Adoptions are $50 (or $75 for two) Dogs vary based on breed, size, etc. Average is $125.
