Meet Bernardo

Bernardo (4 years old) Bernardo is beautiful cream-colored tabby with large pale green eyes, a white chest, and white paws. His long coat is soft and silky. Right now, he’s a bit shy and unsure about being at the shelter, but when he lifts his head and looks at you with his beautiful eyes, you can tell he’s going to be just fine. After he’s decided that you are alright, he will respond to love and affection, and as a big fellow, there’s a lot of love to give him. He relishes head scratches and pettings. This is a giant marshmallow of a cat who would love to sit in a sunny window and watch the world go by while you pet him and tell him how handsome he is. Because he is rather shy, Bernardo would do best with gentle and patient people in a low-stress household. Be sure to stop by and meet Bernardo while you can!

Adoption Process
http://catscradleshelter.org/CCS/how-to-adopt/ An interview with the executive director is done prior to adoption. Not everyone is approved to adopt. Those that are approved have the cat for a 3 week trial period, where they can return cat and get a refund. Beyond that, we always want our cats back if the adoptive household can no longer care for it, but after 3 weeks, the adoption fee is not refunded. An adoption contract is completed prior to final adoption. Adoption fees are $118 including tax.
