Meet Oriole
Oriole is a 5-month-old, sweet and shy kitten looking for her forever home! This beautiful calico is a sweet girl who needs a little time to warm up to new people and situations. She is hesitant at first with humans but is gradually learning that they only bring yummy treats and love. She enjoys affection and loves a good nap up high in a cat tree. Her new favorite hobby is watching the fish in the aquarium swim about and wondering how she could catch them. Oriole is often found curled up in a cat pile with her littermate Sparrow and her mama Robin, napping the day away. Oriole has moderate energy for a kitten her age. She has moments of light playfulness, in which she scurries about, playing in cat tunnels, with ball track toys, and kitty wands. Most of her day is spent snoozing and getting her beauty sleep—which as you can see, is working amazingly well! Oriole currently lives in a foster home with her littermate Sparrow and her mama Robin. There are other cats in the home and dogs that she hasn't interacted with much. There are older children in the home and if they approach her quietly and calmly, she does well. Oriole would love a quiet home where she could relax and be her cute kitten self. She would do well with another active young resident cat or friendly kitten like Sparrow. She will thrive with humans who are patient and willing to take the time to help her feel comfortable and safe. Patience is key with this little sweetie pie. She is an affectionate lap kitten at heart with a fun and playful personality. She just needs the help getting the confidence to be herself (like most people do).
