Meet Ida

Ida and her sister Rose were found in a garage with 6 kittens--Winona, Weezer, Whimsey, Crimson, Celeste, and Wally.  We are not sure which mom belongs to which kittens!  Ida is about a year to 2 years of age at the time of the June, 2024 rescue.  She is now spayed and current on shots.  She has tested neg for feline leukemia/FIV.  She's a great, easy-going girl who will be adopted as an indoor only cat.  Adoption fee is $80.  A pet carrier is required at the time of adoption and you must be 21 to adopt from MCHS.  To meet Ida, go to mchs.rescuegroups.org and complete and submit our online application.  We will review and get in touch to set up a meeting time.  Our address is 101 22 ST SE, Austin, MN.  We are located off of I-90 via exit 180B to 218 SOUTH.  We are just past our local airport.  Thanks.

Adoption Process
Starts with written Application form which includes questions regarding housing situation (rent/own etc. renters require landlord approval), History of previous or current pets, Vet information, Animal housing information (cats must be indoors, dogs fenced yard etc.). Fees for Cat Adoptions are $50 (or $75 for two) Dogs vary based on breed, size, etc. Average is $125.
