Meet Whimsey

Whimsey came to us via the Austin City Pound on 6/1/24.  She came with siblings Weezer, Winona, Wally, Crimson and Celeste.  She also came with 2 moms--they were all found in a garage and we do not know who belonged to who! Whimsey was probably born sometime in May, 2024.   Whimsey is a great girl who will be adopted as an indoor only cat.  Adoption fee is $50 or 2 fo $75.  A pet carrier is required at the time of adoption and you must be 21 to adopt from MCHS.  To meet Whimsey or any of our other cats, go to mchs.rescuegroups.org and complete and submit our online application.  We will review and get in touch to set up a meeting time.  Our address is 101 22 SST SE, Austin, MN.  We are located off of I-90 via exit 180B to 218 SOUTH.  We are just past our local airport  THANKS.

Adoption Process
Starts with written Application form which includes questions regarding housing situation (rent/own etc. renters require landlord approval), History of previous or current pets, Vet information, Animal housing information (cats must be indoors, dogs fenced yard etc.). Fees for Cat Adoptions are $50 (or $75 for two) Dogs vary based on breed, size, etc. Average is $125.
