Meet Liberty

Liberty was rescued from the Austin City Pound on 10/17/24.  She was found near Medicap on 10/14/24.  When we got her, it was obvious that she had been nursing.  Unfortunately, no kittens were turned in with her.  Liberty is a very nice girl and we are guessing that she was born sometime in 2023.  She is now spayed and current on shots.  She has tested neg for feline leukemia/FIV.  We are looking for a strictly indoor home for this sweet cat.  Adoption fee is $80.  A pet carrier is required at the time of adoption and you must be 21 to adopt from MCHS.  To meet Liberty or any of our cats, go to mchs.rescuegroups.org and complete and submit our online application.  We will review and get in touch to set up a meeting time.  Our address is 101 22 ST SE, Austin, MN.  We are located off of I-90 via exit 180B to 218 SOUTH.  We are just past our local airport.  THANKS.

Adoption Process
Starts with written Application form which includes questions regarding housing situation (rent/own etc. renters require landlord approval), History of previous or current pets, Vet information, Animal housing information (cats must be indoors, dogs fenced yard etc.). Fees for Cat Adoptions are $50 (or $75 for two) Dogs vary based on breed, size, etc. Average is $125.
