Humane Society of Swift County

We simply have a cell phone, 4 or 5 foster homes and up to this point advertise on Petfinder. Swift County has no other means to help the animal population in need. Many people in rural areas simply don't care much about animal welfare, so a few of us have to!

Meet Ripley

Ripley and Newt are on the hunt for their purr-fect forever home!  Their wishlist?  Endless cuddles and a playtime extravaganza!  These adorable siblings, who came to our rescue with their fabulous mom Sugar when they were just tiny furballs of 6 days old, are still waiting for their chance at a happily-ever-after.  Sugar has already snagged her forever home, but now it's all about Ripley (the playful princess) and Newt (the charming little rascal) who were born around May 1st, 2024, as the only stars in their litter! Newt (orange tabby/male) is a bundle of sweetness who loves to zoom around, making friends with foster cats and humans alike.  He's a snuggle bug that will leap into your arms and curl up on your lap faster than you can say "kitten cuddle)."  He dreams of a home with another furry buddy to share his adventures.  And then there's Ripley (brown tabby/female), the queen of playtime!  She adores frolicking with her fellow felines and human pals.  As Ripley can be a shy girl around new humans she will have the best chances of thriving in her new home with her main man, Newt, by her side.  As this dynamic duo is hoping to find a forever home together,  guess what?  The adoption fee gets slashed to just $50 each (totaling $106.88 with tax)! They're all set with their snazzy spays/neuters, negative Fe-leuk/FIV tests, deworming and are up to date on their kitten vaccinations.  Want to learn more about this adorable pair?  Text their amazing foster mom Jackie at 320-761-0256 or apply at https://bit.ly/HSSCJackiesapp  Let's give these cuties the loving home they deserve!

Adoption Process
We spay/neuter all of our adult pets before adoption. Adoption fees begin at $95 for dogs, but vary depending upon the desirability of the dog, purebreds, etc. Each foster home interviews and decides upon the adoptive families for the pet.
