Bonded to Marble Pebble is a sweet and gentle 6 mo. old boy with a shy side. He’s still working on trusting people and adjusting to new environments though, so he will need time to settle in and get comfortable. But, rest assured – he’s got a playful heart and when he gets going, he really gets going! He loves carrying his toys around in his mouth before playing. It’s adorable to watch when he’s in play mode as he’s long and lanky, and a little clumsy! He's still pretty skittish with sudden movements and loud noises though so it may be best for he and Marble to be in a home without young kids. Pebble also has a super cool marbled tabby coat that gives him a unique, eye-catching look! His beautiful patterns are just as special as his personality. While Pebble is still a bit anxious, he has one thing down: he’s an excellent litter box user! He’s very clean and knows exactly where to go. The most important thing about Pebble is that he has a very special bond with his sister, Marble. These two are inseparable, and it’s essential that they go to their new home together. Their connection is strong – they eat and sleep together, and even love to have a good bathing session together. They will bring a lot of love and joy to a patient family who is ready to give them the time and space they need to thrive. If you're looking for a loving duo who will blossom in a calm, quiet home with lots of playtime, Pebble and Marble might be the perfect fit for you! Chicken is from an owner surrender with his sister. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. To learn more about Ruff Start’s adoption process and the care our foster animals receive, please visit our How to Adopt page. If you are unable to adopt but want to help this animal and others in our care, you can donate to support the medical and veterinary needs of all Ruff Start Rescue animals. Want to adopt a kitten? We highly recommend you consider bringing home two instead of one! Adopting kittens in pairs has been proven to be beneficial for cats’ emotional and behavioral well-being and greatly improves the likelihood of long-term adopter happiness as a result. Adopting more than one kitten also reduces the risk of “Single Kitten Syndrome” (also known as Tarzan Syndrome), a symptom of under-socialization during a kitten’s most formative weeks. Kittens who are under-socialized may develop aggressive tendencies toward both other animals and humans as they grow, creating lifelong behavioral issues for owners.
