Meet Ivy

Ivy was found as a young kitten in an Austin yard in early October, 2024.  She was infested with fleas at the time of rescue.  Ivy was born in mid-Sept, 2024.  She is now flea-free and has tested neg for feline leukemia/FIV.  She is spayed and current on all shots.  Her adoption fee is $80 and a pet carrier is required at the time of adoption.  You must be 21 to adopt from MCHS.  If you are interested in meeting Ivy or any of our cats, go to mchs.rescuegroups.org and complete and submit our online application.  We will review and get in touch to set up a meeting time.  Our address is 101 22 ST SE, Austin, MN.  We are located off of I-90 via exit 180B to 218 SOUTH.  We are just past our local airport.  Thanks.

Adoption Process
Starts with written Application form which includes questions regarding housing situation (rent/own etc. renters require landlord approval), History of previous or current pets, Vet information, Animal housing information (cats must be indoors, dogs fenced yard etc.). Fees for Cat Adoptions are $50 (or $75 for two) Dogs vary based on breed, size, etc. Average is $125.
