Meet Tux

Tux is a wiggler, a cuddler and people friendly. She wiggles when picked up and settles in quickly on a lap to snuggle. Tux can be vocal and insistent when her food bowl is empty. Her ideal home is with an individual, couple or family; Tux has been around children. She entertains her littermates Midnight and Shadow. Tux is accustomed to being around small dogs. She has a soft black coat with a tuxedo pattern and long white cheek and eye whiskers! As of November 2024, Tux is 7 months old.      Friends of Jackson County Animal Shelter Pets (FJCASP) is a foster-based rescue for dogs and cats. All pets are in a home environment cared for by a foster person who provides temporary care until the pet can be placed in a permanent home. Friends of Jackson County is an all-volunteer, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. Adoption Process
Prospective adopter must fill out application/contract. Our adoption coordinator calls to verify that all other animals in the home are under vet care and utd on vaccinations, preventatives and are spayed/neutered. Home visits are done to verify fenced yard, shelter, etc. Our normal adoption fee is $50.00
