Meet Roo (three legged) (adoption pending)
Roo, also known as "Rocket Roo," because he launches himself eagerly into everything he does. He can often be found zooming around the house on all three legs. Roo is very friendly to everyone and to every animal. He is very active by playing and exploring, Roo does not sit still! He needs a home with plenty of space to run around. Roo has not maneuvered climbing well but he tries; a short cat tower would be a good start to conquer. When he finally does get tired, Roo becomes a social sleeper, he will cuddle with his human companion, or you may find him snuggled with a kitten buddy in a kitty cave. Roo has a big appetite and can be vocal when ready to eat. He likes to taste test people food; cheese is his favorite. Roo's ideal home is with an individual, couple or family. He should do well with other cats and a cat-friendly dog; Roo seems to have no fear of either and would love to have a kitty buddy. He was witnessed climbing into a large dog's food dish while the dog was eating! Fortunately, the dog was willing to share! Roo is an orange classic tabby with white and has a mask and mantle pattern. As of August 2022, he is 2 months old. Roo was discovered as a very young kitten that could not use his back leg. Radiographs showed it had been broken and was healing incorrectly causing Roo pain. The back leg was amputated and has healed.
