Meet Moonlight

Moonlight is energetic, lively and robust. He has much high-spirited energy, and you will wonder when does he sleep! Moonlight is friendly, low-maintenance and fits into almost any living situation. His ideal home is with an individual, couple or family. Moonlight hangs out with littermates Cole, Garfield and Stripes. He should tolerate a cat-friendly dog. Moonlight is a silver classic tabby with light green eyes. As of February 2025, Moonlight is 4 months old.      Friends of Jackson County Animal Shelter Pets (FJCASP) is a foster-based rescue for dogs and cats. All pets are in a home environment cared for by a foster person who provides temporary care until the pet can be placed in a permanent home. Friends of Jackson County is an all-volunteer, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. Adoption Process
Prospective adopter must fill out application/contract. Our adoption coordinator calls to verify that all other animals in the home are under vet care and utd on vaccinations, preventatives and are spayed/neutered. Home visits are done to verify fenced yard, shelter, etc. Our normal adoption fee is $50.00
