Meet Dairy Girl
Dairy Girl is a precious, friendly kitty. She was rescued as a pregnant feral but was immediately loving the household pet routine. She birthed her 6 gingers and is spayed & vetted. She is a vocal girl and loves to have conversation. She is litter trained on wood pellets. She is approximately 14 months old. She will make an excellent companion for someone needing the company of a calm, even tempered cat. She loves petting and being held. She enjoys sleeping at the foot of the bed and is passed the crazy midnight zoomies kitten stage!! But she is still playful and enjoys a scratching post and toys. She is probably a good mouser as well since she lived on her own for the first 6 months of her life. Currently she is socializing with several other adult cats and a large passive dog. She has adjusted very well to the household. She is now sleeping with both the rough collie and the cats! Full disclosure.... she snores, video attached, turn volume up ;) Please contact DARS if you think Dairy Girl will be a good fit for your home.
Adoption Process
We are not a shelter with a facility where you can visit our pets. All rescued pets live in our own homes, where they are evaluated and cared for until they find their ideal adoptive family. We do our best to to make the best match for pet and new family. We carefully screen prospective homes and require all applicants to go through an adoption application process. Everyone who wishes to adopt an animal must fill out a pre-adoption survey. Once it is approved, we will review the contract with you to ensure that the animal will be cared for appropriately.
Standard Donations for adoptions are $125 for Dogs and $75 for Cats. Donations cover up to date shots, spay/neuter, heart worm screening and treatment, feline AIDS and leukemia tests and other veterinary care.
