Meet Tux

Tux is warm, hearty and friendly. He is devoted and shows affection. Tux is loyal not only to his owner but to people in his closed circle. He can handle stressful situations and is responsive to fast-changing conditions. Tux will come up to his human companion and greet you when you arrive home. He would be a great business cat meeting and greeting customers! Tux's ideal home is with an individual, couple or family. He should get along with other cats and a cat-friendly dog. Tux has a black coat that makes his long white whiskers flash! He has mitted paws, a white locket, a white belly spot and a short fluffy tail. Tux is about 4 years old.      Friends of Jackson County Animal Shelter Pets (FJCASP) is a foster-based rescue for dogs and cats. All pets are in a home environment cared for by a foster person who provides temporary care until the pet can be placed in a permanent home. Friends of Jackson County is an all-volunteer, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. Adoption Process
Prospective adopter must fill out application/contract. Our adoption coordinator calls to verify that all other animals in the home are under vet care and utd on vaccinations, preventatives and are spayed/neutered. Home visits are done to verify fenced yard, shelter, etc. Our normal adoption fee is $50.00
