Hello, I'm Georgie. I'm a gentle, mellow, and sweet girl at 16 years old. I had a family for my whole life but they moved and left me behind...I'm in a foster home and doing great. I do good with dogs but I'm not a fan of other cats. I have hyperthyroidism and will need a daily medication for the rest of my life. I'm looking for a place to call home for the rest of my golden years. Can that be with you? If you're interested in adopting me, fill out an adoption application online at www.polkcountyhumanesociety.org/adopt where you will also find a link to reserve me for an appointment. Some pets are in foster homes or may already have an appointment scheduled, so the appointment is important to make sure I will be available to meet you when you come.
