KittenSnatchers

Kitten Snatchers is a volunteer-led, nonprofit organization dedicated to rescuing Philadelphia's stray cats and kittens. Founded in 2020, we provide foster homes to cats found on the street or surrendered to ACCT, and we care for them until they can find their "fur"ever homes. Our success is only made possible thanks to the hard work of our team of experienced and new fosters who open their homes to cats in need.

Meet Pepita

Pepita found herself out on the streets at 10 years old through no fault of her own. After crying in vain at the door of her former home for a few days, she moved down the block and tried a different door, which fortunately for her belonged to a Kitten Snatchers foster. This sweet girl is now safely back to the inside life she has always known, and we will never understand how someone could throw her out. She is a gentle, calm, perfectly behaved lady who enjoys wandering around gently bonking her head on corners, walls, ankles, and the floor to request pets. (She prefers human pets but will pet herself on the furniture if you are not available). If you scratch her head she leans into your hand so hard that she eventually turns herself upside down. She enjoys some gentle play time, but is generally an extremely easy, low maintenance kitty who is happy to lay near your feet and purr quietly, or to relax alone on a soft bed--but she will always chirp hello when you come to see her! She is a rare, gorgeous tortoiseshell/brown tabby mix and she loves to roll over and show off her adorable belly.    Pepita would do well with any family that can give her the safe, loving home she deserves.
