Meet Nieve & Snih

Meet Nieve & Snih! Found outside in the snow on a cold winter night, these two have names that both mean snow in different languages! These sweet and fun sisters love playing together and seem to have endless games in their little brains. In fact, you’ll hardly find one without the other, they love each other so much. As growing kittens, they help each other exercise, explore, and learn. Snih’s more reluctant approach helps balance Nieve’s endless curiosity and daring. Snih will make sure they are well fed and vocalize their needs when it comes to water, food, litter, and cuddles.  Nieve (black chin): This mischievous cuddle bug will keep you company and on your toes! She is playful, curious, and daring. You might find her in a place you didn’t expect a cat could climb or running around with the zoomies and her toys. But she’ll never be far away from you either! She’ll jump up into your lap to demand cuddles and even sit with you through long video calls. Nieve likes to be held like a baby, and also did very well with her first encounter with a human baby too! Snih (white chin): Sweet, shy Snih is hesitant at the start and prefers to approach you first. She is less adventurous than her sister, but will do anything for food and treats (including steal them out of her sister’s mouth). Once she trusts you, you may find that she prefers to be as close to you as possible during key parts of the day. She takes her role as your protector seriously, even accompanying you to the bathroom to stand guard. Her preferred sleep spot is right next to you with her head on your shoulder.
