Meet Biggie Smalls
HISTORY: BIGGIE SMALLS was rescued as a stray found to be FIV+. However, as is typical with many FIV+ cats, this cat is in excellent health and expected to live a normal lifespan. According to Cornell University, the primary mode of Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) transmission is through repeated fights resulting in the exchange of blood, and it poses no threat to humans or other species. If you would like to consider BIGGIE for adoption but need more information on FIV, request more information from [email protected]. TEMPERAMENT: BIGGIE SMALLS is an extremely outgoing and affectionate kitty with a big heart. He loves to spend time in your lap, curled up in your arms, or snuggled up next to you at night. BIGGIE is extremely interactive and social, and can get chatty at times. He loves people, and has been instantly friendly with everyone he meets. However, BIGGIE is very afraid of other kitties, due to his time “on the streets.” BIGGIE also loves to play, and his favorite toys are ping pong balls, crinkle toys, and a fishing pole where he can leap high into the air to catch his “prey.” If you are looking for solo cat friend and companion who will keep you entertained and showered with affection, then BIGGIE is your guy! However, BIGGIE can get overstimulated, leading to mouthing. He needs an adopter willing to learn his body language to avoid nips.
