HISTORY: OBSIDIAN was rescued in Las Vegas, NM, and brought to F&F for medical care. TEMPERAMENT: OBSIDIAN is a big old nearly-toothless marshmallow, a kitty who never stops searching for a lap to occupy and a hand to pet him. This lovebug arrived with a respiratory illness and advanced dental disease, leading to many extractions. Although he is still a bit sneezy, he is not contagious to other kitties. He is being evaluated for thyroid disease but does not need any medications at this time. OBSIDIAN has lived easily with other cats but absolutely adores the company of humans. He would fare well in a new home with someone willing to dote on him.
