Meet Boots & Mittens-bonded pair
DOB: 09/09/17Introducing Boots and Mittens! They are a 7-year-old female bonded pair of snuggle machines who came to GRASP in May 2024. These two beauties are eagerly awaiting their forever home. If you are looking for a pair of clean, well behaved, and adorable kitties, we encourage you to apply!Boots (a.k.a. Bootsy, Boots McGoots - black face) is the more adventurous of the pair and can easily entertain herself with various kitty toys. If you have a small ball (preferably with some jingle to it!) Boots will feel right at home. She is also a little more food-oriented than Mittens, but she is lovely even when food is not involved. You will often find Boots in the same room as her human and occasionally bold enough to hop up on a lap to cuddle. This sweetie did endure a minor bit of hardship when an ear infection led to some minor damage prior to her surrender. As such she may be a bit “tipsy” at times due to balance issues, but she certainly does not let that slow her down!Mittens (a.k.a. Mitsy, Mittens McGee - white face/black nose) may come across a little cautious at first, but once she becomes comfortable around her human she really comes out of her shell. You will find her playing with cat toys, watching the world from a cat tree, hopping on your lap, or seeking kitty pets. Especially kitty pets!!! These girls can always find a way to remain close, while also never being under foot. Mittens loves to sleep next to, if not on top of, her human at night white Boots enjoys laying next to her human and they provide quite the calming presence. These two will show their mutual affection by cleaning each other before curling up together for the night or a nap. These lovely ladies would do best in a relaxed environment, but could become comfortable around other cats and calm, cat-friendly dogs. Apply to adopt today! This cat has been combo-tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV, received all age-appropriate vaccinations and is altered.
