Meet Shadowheart

Shadowheart is a sweet, shy baby who takes a little while to warm up. But let her sniff your hand and give her a gentle scritch on the cheek, and she immediately transforms into a puddle of purrs.  She’s a fiend for the pets — head, cheek, and even belly will make her wild, and if you give her back some gentle pats, she’ll turn in circles to chase your hand. If you have a brush, she will be your best friend! She’s a biscuit-making factory, and if you stop the pets too soon, she’ll give you a gentle pat with her paw — she’s not done with you, thankyouverymuch. If she’s being really bossy, she might even (gently) nibble on your fingers or lick your hand as a gentle reminder of who’s boss. When she’s not staring deep into your soul, wondering why you’re not petting her, she can be found hunting a toy through the house. Her favorites lately? A ribbon on a string, a couple catnip-filled mice, and a squishy little soccer ball that continues to get stuck under the stove. When she’s really in a playful mood, she leaps into the air like an acrobat, angling to catch a feather toy. While she’s still a little timid, her personality comes out as she gets comfortable. She loves a cozy cat bed under the couch, where she can survey the house. If you’re patient and generous with the pets, she’s even been known to cuddle on a warm belly.
