Meet Dynasty

Dynasty is a petite 4 year old female brown tabby who entered our care on January 10th. The info below is from Dynasty's foster:Personality & BehaviorShe really wants love but is very scared. She communicates her boundaries well through body language, occasional meowing, and sometimes hissing. Anything done in a rush doesn’t work for her. She has been thriving lately, running around the apartment more and jumping on things. Recently, she started running across the couch to me when I come in the door, which is really cute! She is very scared and will react strongly, but deep down she's very sweet. Petting is good, but being held/handled is not in her comfort zone yet,Socialization & Comfort LevelWhen I first got her, she stayed in the kitchen for about four days, mostly on the counter and in the sink. She enjoys being petted a lot when I come home (she gets lonely) and a little bit throughout the rest of the time. I’ve been working on picking her up, petting her, putting her down, and walking away to help her associate it positively. I’ve only had two people over—one visit went okay, but the other wasn’t great for her. Any sudden noises are very scary for her.Play & ActivitiesShe loves chasing the red laser light all over my apartment until she tires out (about 7 minutes). She likes her stratch post, but not into other toys aside from the laser. She stares at herself in the floor-length mirror. (Im so curious if ahe would thrive with a friend) She has been exploring more, gaining confidence, and runnimg around a whole lot more in the past few days.Eating & Drinking HabitsShe only eats dry food—won't eat human-grade chicken or fish, wet cat food, or dry/wet snacks. I bought her a water fountain bubbler, which she used once, but still demands water from the faucet. The bubbler is still out, but I’ve never seen her use it again. We will update this information as we continue to learn more about Dynasty's personality during her time with her foster.Apply to adopt Dynasty at www.ttrrescue.com.Dynasty enjoying some attention from her fosterDynasty trying to figure out how the mirror works
