Our mission is to "Rescue One By One Until There Are None." Through this mission we will rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome orphaned pets. We aim to provide a loving, nurturing environment for all the animals in our care. We are committed to helping each individual pet find his or her perfect companion.We are dedicated to being a no-kill rescue. We are committed to saving as many lives as we can and providing the best possible environment for the pets in our care. We are a team of experienced and compassionate people that are willing to go above and beyond to ensure our success. Our focus will be on rescue, rehabilitation and adoption of dogs and cats. We will rescue from our community, the Southern United States as well as the Cayman Islands. We will offer a variety of programs and services to the community to make pet ownership easier and more affordable for the public. Our education programs are incredibly important to the community and will help pave the way for the future of animal rescue. The wide variety of services and programs we will offer the community will set us apart and allow us to truly make a difference. We will be one of the few no-kill rescues in the area, we will only euthanize for terminal illness or loss of quality of life. We plan to intake and adopt out about 1,000 dogs and cats per year. We will collaborate with other shelters and rescues in the area to work together towards a similar goal.

Birthdate:  7/14/2024Breed: One of a kindGoing way beyond comfort food, if you find yourself needing the kind of warmth that only a kitten knows how to provide - get back to basics and have some MAC and CHEESE!  This delicious pair of sisters are a happy shade of orange.  While they'll take a minute to learn you, we suggest you forget your table manners and enjoy Mac and Cheese with your hands!  Touch is the key to their hearts and the purring that ensues should be on everybody's playlist.  Winter blues?  Mac's "eighties hair" will make you giggle.  Date night was a bust?  Tell Cheese all about it.  She knows how to listen.  Ready for a second helping?  We understand completely if you want them both!  **Mac & Cheese are a bonded pair and need to go home together**Before you can adopt, please complete an adoption questionnaire on our website at https://www.pawscrossedny.org/cat-adoption-questionnaire!
