Meet Oz
Birthdate: 9/05/2024Breed: One of a kindBeyond the captivating story and music, Wicked offers powerful lessons in friendship, empathy and embracing differences. Kittens couldn't care less about cliff notes, but The Wizard just brought us some beauts. Not for nothing, we keep hearing them say: "There's no place like home"! We think they mean yours!OZ: Stunning sweetpea with (light Emerald City) eyes, this boy's a charmer. Playful and affectionate, that striking charcoal tail is always held high to welcome you. Oz is currently undergoing treatment for FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis)—a diagnosis that once felt hopeless, but no longer is. Thanks to modern advances, FIP is now treatable and Oz is doing wonderfully on his medication! Paws Crossed will cover the remainder of his treatment, so all he needs now is a home to finish healing in and grow into the amazing companion we know he is meant to be.FIP treatment consists of daily oral medication (no injections!) and routine check-ins—it’s incredibly manageable, especially with the guidance and support we provide. We’re here every step of the way to answer questions and help you through.Oz is currently in a foster home also wrapping up a little extra TLC for a touch of ringworm, but it’s just a bump in the road for this resilient sweetheart. The Rescue is open 7 days a week for you to come and meet our pets! Walk-ins are welcome! In order to interact with them, you’ll need a simple questionnaire filled out. You can fill this out at the Rescue or before you come in at: https://www.pawscrossedny.org/cat-adoption-questionnaire.
