Meet Pete
Pete is a stunning, big, orange boy, who is already close to 10 lbs! He is roughly 9 months to 1 year old, so he still has growing to do. He was left in an apartment when the former tenants moved out, but luckily another tenant was able to take him for a short time. Peter (AKA "Peter" or "Petey") is very docile with the other foster cats in his foster home. One of the other cats isn't crazy about him - she is half his size, hisses at him, and runs the other way. However, Pete is still an easygoing fellow. He is very gentle when playing with younger cats/kittens. Pete absolutely LOVES toys! His favorite is a little stuffed mouse. He throws it in the air, rolls with it, and carries it around. Pete enjoys being held and loved on. He is so excited to explore his foster home and meet everyone while talking (chirping) the majority of the time. Pete would do great in any home. Pete was born around February 19, 2024, and is currently being fostered in Naugatuck. She is fixed, up-to-date on shots, microchipped, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. All of our cats and kittens are cared for in loving foster homes. "Meet and Greets" can be arranged only after an application has been submitted and approved. Applications for adoption can be found at our website at www.fosterandforever.org. Our volunteers do their best to respond within 24-48 hours.
Adoption Process
Visit our website to fill out an application either on-line or download a form (fill it out and email it back to us). This will start the adoption process.
All applicants must provide references including a vet (please give them permission to speak to us). Note that we do not place our pets in homes with children under 5, this protects the children and our pets.
Once references are checked a home visit will be scheduled and then a meet and greet with the pet.
