Meet Sanford

Sanford is a local legend, and we're so excited to finally put him up for adoption! He's a hilarious and opinionated boy, who LOVES treats, body rubs, and other cats. He also has the cutest head tilt -- it's not a medical concern, just a charming trait. Sanford spends his day lounging and observing; he's a chill guy who's just looking for a comfortable home and ideally a cat buddy.  Sanford's story is as unique as he is: He lived the first few years of his life in a basement with a building super in East New York. A year ago, we found him wandering the streets of Crown Heights in bad shape. How Sanford made his long journey to a different part of Brooklyn...we will never know. But it was clear he needed help. We got him back into good shape and socialized him into the funniest house cat. Along the way, many people on the internet fell in love with him. Sanford is neutered, up to date on vaccines, free of fleas and parasites, and negative for FIV/FeLV. At 8 years old and in great health, Sanford has many good years ahead! Not only does he love other cats, he also really liked his foster dog brothers. He might be a bit shy at first, but he'll warm up quickly with pets and treats. We have an adoption application, an adoption fee to help us recoup a small portion of our vet bills and expenses and an adoption agreement.
