225Meet Pumbaa!
Say hello to tuxedo'ed cutie Pumbaa! This sweet, rambunctious little guy loves to play and run around with his foster siblings, chase toy balls and mice, and race around the house after a meal. Rescued from the street in the Bronx with his brother Timon (listed separately), Pumbaa is still a bit shy with new people, but he's super goofy, high-energy and good-natured. He's slowly learning to enjoy pets and affection and he purrs his little head off when you pet him, especially while he's eating! Pumbaa has the cutest little white chin and loves all kinds of toys. He will wear himself out with kitty zoomies and bouncing around after a meal before settling in for a nap in a warm bed. While he gets along well with his brother, Timon, they are not super bonded, so Pumbaa would be fine being adopted separately to a home where he would have another active young cat to play with. He's the more confident and cuddly of the two, but he'll need a patient adopter who can help him truly blossom! Pumbaa is 6 months old and healthy. He is neutered and microchipped, was treated for parasites upon rescue, has tested fiv-/felv- and is up to date on all vaccinations. If you're interested in meeting Pumbaa, fill out our application here: https://brooklynanimalaction.org/adoption-forms/ . Make sure you click on Pumbaa and identify CLAIRE as the RESCUER when you fill out the form! Thank you for considering a rescued angel! Every dime goes to save another homeless kitty on the street.
