Meet Matilda (Tilly)

Matilda, Tilly for her friends (everyone), entered our care after her family moved away and left her outside. She was fed by a kind neighbor for almost 5 weeks before joining our rescue. At her foster she immediately showed how sweet and wonderful she is, sleeping on her foster and wanting to be petted. She loves playing with a laser pointer and string. She also loves to eat treats.Tilly is positive for Feline Leukemia (FELV+), which means she will need to be an only cat. She has been temperament tested with another cat with Feline Leukemia and she prefers to be a solo kitty anyway so that she can get all the attention and spend time with her people. We are working with a vet to provide continued care for her condition and will educate her adopter on how to continue this care. At this time she is fully asymptomatic and is living a happy, healthy life just like any other cat. Many kitties who are FELV+ continue to live normal lives, it is just important to ensure they are indoors only and receive regular check ups! Please consider giving this sweet girl her forever home. Adoption Process
Our application includes reference checks and a home visit to ensure responsible adoptions. Upon approval, we have an adoption contract and an adoption fee that covers previous vet care.
