We are a municipal shelter for the City of Stamford CT. We respond to animal related calls and are a division of the City Police Dept. We house, care for and adopt owner surrendered or found stray Dogs and Cats. We also rescue and care for injured or orphaned wildlife. We have love for animals and we enjoy helping people. Thats why we do it.

Kanga is a 4 year old female that came into our shelter with one of her kittens. Her kitten has found a home and now its Kangas turn to find her forever home. Kanga has been dog and cat tested and would do best as the only pet in the home.
