We are a municipal shelter for the City of Stamford CT. We respond to animal related calls and are a division of the City Police Dept. We house, care for and adopt owner surrendered or found stray Dogs and Cats. We also rescue and care for injured or orphaned wildlife. We have love for animals and we enjoy helping people. Thats why we do it.

Meet Freddy Freddy is a 2 year old neutered male that is vaccinated, microchipped and is ready to find his forever home. Freddy is looking for a home as the only pet with an owner that is not looking for a lap cat. Also a home with no children or older children would be the best fit for Freddy being that he guards his food when eating. Freddy can be affectionate at times but is not to fond of being held. He enjoys head rubs and loves Delectable squeeze up treats and cat nip. If you believe Freddy is the perfect match for you please submit an application online or stop by our shelter located at 201 Magee Ave.
