Meet Jane Clawsten! She is very talkative and will chirp! Jane also meows and purrs a lot! Unfortunately, this 2 year old girl has had a bit of a rough go of it in her short life. She is quite shy and anxious, and will need some extra time to feel comfortable and blossom into the amazing cat that she is. Once she trusts you though, her personality shines. She is very curious and loves attention. She loves to play with toys including spring toys and balls, but her absolute favorites are the fishing pole toys. She goes nuts for them, and she is quite vocal about wanting to play and if her foster mom is busy or ignoring her, she will drag the toy over to make it known that it's playtime. Jane also loves to sit in the windows to bird watch, and loves spending time with her human. Jane likes other cats but she can be somewhat cat selective, and so she would do best with a cat that is NOT dominant in nature, or a very laid back cat. She also needs ample time for any introductions to other animals before she feels comfortable. It is unknown how she does with dogs. Since Jane is on the shy side, she would probably do best with older children, or adults I am located in the Wilmington, NC area. Unless otherwise noted I can be met on Saturdays at one of our adoption events.
