Meet Patches
Meet Patches! Just look at her gorgeous face and those magnificent eyes. This girl is super sweet, seeks affection and is looking for a home she can call her own. Patches is shy but her foster has been working with her to show her that love and affection are wonderful things. Patches felt more comfortable tucked away while observing her fosters schedule but within a couple of weeks, she was seeking pets and interaction. She has found a favorite spot at the top of the cat tree on a soft comfy ledge with a window view. She hasn't been reactive to other cats in her foster home and doesn't seem to mind them being around. Matter of fact, Patches has made herself right at home with another foster who doesn't care for other cats. The other foster stayed in a cubby and Patches decided she was going to enjoy snuggling whether she liked it or not. We're are not sure about dogs but it could be the same situation, she may be fine as long as you have non-reactive dogs that will give her space. Patches hasn't been around children but with her sweet personality she should be fine with older more calm kids. She would not do well with anyone of any age grabbing at her or picking her up by surpirse. For anyone that adopts Patches, she needs time to acclimate in a smaller space, not a wide open house where she can hide. If you give Patches the time she needs she is going to be a sweetheart of a companion. Whatever you give her, she will give back. Patches is not yet attending the adoption events because we don't want to stress her out. With an approved adoption application you can request a meet and greet in a calmer enviornment.
