Meet Gracie

Meet Gracie! This girl is super sweet, seeks affection and is looking for a home she can call her own. Gracie came to us shy but is slowly learning that she doesn't have to be afraid. Her foster has been working with her to show her that love and affection are wonderful things. Gracie's ideal home would be without cats and dogs unless the dog(s) just ignores her and if they do approach her and she swats at them, they won't be reactive. With older kids that won't chase or grab at her but let her come to them, she would most likely do okay. Her foster has tried to socialize her with other cats and bottom line is, she swats at them and hisses. Even though she doesn't swat hard, it still tells us she wants to be the only cat and would do better getting all the attention from her new person. Gracie needs time to acclimate and get used to her new place and within a short time, she'll be meeting you at the food bowl and coming to you for pets. Gracie is not yet attending the adoption events because we don't want to stress her out. With an approved adoption application you can request a meet and greet so you can see for yourself how precious she is.
