Meet Elise
ELISE and her sisters were born behind Tractor Supply and rescued. Elise had a urinary condition from early on and was diagnosed with an Ectopic Ureter, a birth defect that meant her urine wasn't being dumped into her bladder from her kidneys properly, so she leaked. It's something she would either outgrow or require surgery to correct. We're so happy to report that Elise's body has been staying dry. She does have the occasional dribble but appears to definitely be winning this battle. This girl is hilarious. She's bigger than life, knows no fear, loves other cats and plays with abandon. The SCHS is looking for a diligent adopter that will monitor her progress and keep us informed. If you don't want to go on this medical journey with Elise, please do not apply for her. The standard adoption fee is $100 cash or $105 debit/credit. This includes feline testing, vaccines, spaying/neutering, micro-chipping and de-worming. Submit an adoption application through stanlycountyhumanesociety.org ; local adoptions only. Like us on facebook at Stanly County Humane Society Cats. Thanks for considering adopting a rescue pet!
Adoption Process
An adoption application must be completed before meeting the pets and an adoption contract is required upon approval to adopt. Our adoption fee is usually $150 - $200. This includes all vet work, including shots, altering and heartworm test.
