Meet Edamame

Edamame (1year old) Edamame is a gentle and sweet Siamese cat with pure blue eyes, and she can be talkative with her quiet trills. Edamame is shy at first when meeting new people but will warm up to gentle pets and soft voices that tell her how beautiful she is. She doesn't like to be picked up, but she will sit in a lap when it is her choice. In fact, when Edamame had a litter of kittens, she wanted to be in her foster mom's lap while nursing her babies. Later, she draped herself across her foster mom's shoulders and supervised her babies being bottle fed. She will tolerate other gentle cats if introduced slowly. This sensitive kitty has not been around dogs, so extra careful introduction to a relaxed dog would have to take place. Could you offer Edamame a quiet home (considerate and respectful children over 12) where she can get to know you and enjoy a cozy, peaceful life? Edamame prefers canned food (Fancy Feast) over dry food but will eat both.

Adoption Process
http://catscradleshelter.org/CCS/how-to-adopt/ An interview with the executive director is done prior to adoption. Not everyone is approved to adopt. Those that are approved have the cat for a 3 week trial period, where they can return cat and get a refund. Beyond that, we always want our cats back if the adoptive household can no longer care for it, but after 3 weeks, the adoption fee is not refunded. An adoption contract is completed prior to final adoption. Adoption fees are $118 including tax.
