DOB: 5/28/2024 Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, prepare to be AMAZED by the one and only Gilbert the Great! This dashing young tabby, just shy of one year old, has all the makings of a true star! ✨ Watch in awe as he dashes across the room with the speed of a daredevil! Gasp in wonder as he leaps through the air with the grace of an acrobat! Marvel at his talent for conversation—yes, folks, Gilbert is not just a performer, he’s a talker too! Once a humble stray, this charming feline was clearly destined for the indoor life of luxury. He adores human company, following his people around like the ringleader of his very own show. And let’s not forget his signature look—those extra-pointy ears add just the right touch of flair to his already dazzling performance! So, if you’re looking for a feline companion who will keep you entertained, keep you company, and keep your heart full of love—Gilbert is ready to take center stage in your life! Come meet me at the cage-free Adoption Center! All cats are spayed or neutered, vaccinated and tested for FIV/FeLV. **If interested in adopting me, please fill out an online adoption application at https://colonycats.org/adoption_app.html to expedite the process. Due to the large number of inquiries received, we are unable to respond to emails quickly.**
Adoption Process
We have an application that requires the potential adopter to wait until their application can be verified. Once everything checks out the adopter comes and picks up their new fur member of the family and signs a contract. One of the highlights of our contract states that if for ANY reason at ANY time they cannot care for the animal, they must return the cat or dog back to Colony Cats (& dogs). Our adoption fees are $100 for kittens (4 months and younger), $85 for kittens 5 or 6 months, $75 for adult cats, $50 for Wise Whiskers (7 years and older). We often have adoption specials where the adoption fees are lowered. The adoption fee includes the animals already being spayed/neutered, Feline Leukemia and FIV tested (cats), heartworm tested (dogs), all vaccinations (FVRCP and DHLPP), rabies vaccine (if kittens or puppies adopted are not old enough to have received a rabies vaccine, then the new owner will need to go to their vet to get this done), microchip, flea/tick/heartworm preventative.
