YesDOB: 6/28/2024 In the undercity of stray life, fate dealt Silco a cruel hand. Rescued by a kind-hearted human who dreamed of giving him a better future, he was promised the world—but sometimes, even the best intentions aren’t enough. Now, Silco is searching for a new empire—a home where his loyalty, charm, and strategic cuddles will be truly appreciated. But don’t be fooled by his shadowy coat—there’s no villainy in this smooth-talking mastermind. Silco is a sweetheart through and through, always at your side, always ready to share his grand philosophies (or just his opinion on dinner time). He’ll follow you like a devoted ally, speaking in his rich, expressive meows, ensuring you never feel alone in your domain. With the right home, Silco will be the most devoted companion, the true ruler of your heart. Will you be the one to give him the kingdom he deserves? Come meet me at the cage-free Adoption Center! All cats are spayed or neutered, vaccinated and tested for FIV/FeLV. **If interested in adopting me, please fill out an online adoption application at https://colonycats.org/adoption_app.html to expedite the process. Due to the large number of inquiries received, we are unable to respond to emails quickly.**
Adoption Process
We have an application that requires the potential adopter to wait until their application can be verified. Once everything checks out the adopter comes and picks up their new fur member of the family and signs a contract. One of the highlights of our contract states that if for ANY reason at ANY time they cannot care for the animal, they must return the cat or dog back to Colony Cats (& dogs). Our adoption fees are $100 for kittens (4 months and younger), $85 for kittens 5 or 6 months, $75 for adult cats, $50 for Wise Whiskers (7 years and older). We often have adoption specials where the adoption fees are lowered. The adoption fee includes the animals already being spayed/neutered, Feline Leukemia and FIV tested (cats), heartworm tested (dogs), all vaccinations (FVRCP and DHLPP), rabies vaccine (if kittens or puppies adopted are not old enough to have received a rabies vaccine, then the new owner will need to go to their vet to get this done), microchip, flea/tick/heartworm preventative.
