Here is what Penny’s foster mom has to say about her: Penny is about a year old and is currently fostered with four adult cats and an 11 month old retriever mix that is cat friendly. She’s very playful and loving. She loves to be petted and will follow you around chirping at you to get you to bend over and pet her. She’s also very good and treat motivated. Not much of a lap cat yet although she has to compete with my retriever puppy for my lap. I think she would do best in a home with older children because she can get a little rough at times when she plays. She loves watching the birds outside the window and is very social when I have friends over. Penny is spayed and up-to-date on all vet care. Adoption Process
Adoption application. We check references and call vet. There is a $75 adoption fee, but all of our cats are sterilized, vaccinated, and tested for feline leukemia/FIV prior to adoption. We do not adopt to anyone who wants to declaw, but we do not advertise that fact until after the person fills out the application--we do not want them to lie to us if they know they cannot get the cat and declaw. We have them sign an agreement that the cat will come back to us if for any reason they do not want it.
