Lady Jane Gray is a special little cat with a big personality! She is playful, vocal, and loving. What she lacks in eyes, she makes up for in charisma. Lady Jane loves to play and adventure around the house. When she's done playing, she loves to call out, Marco Polo style, until she finds someone to snuggle and nap with. Lady Jane shared her foster home with both cats and dogs. She loves other cats and enjoys visiting with calm dogs. She would love a home with children or other pets to shower her with affection and attention. Lady Jane came to the rescuewith a badly damaged eye and some damage to her nose. We aren't sure whether the damage was caused by an injury or an infection, but the eye had to be removed. It has healed incredibly well, but we believe the damage to her nasal cavity may be permanent. It doesn't slow her down at all, but she is a bit noisy and makes whistling and snorting noises, especially when she is running around and playing. Her vet does not believe she will require ongoing care other than helping keep her little face clean when her nose runs. Lady Jane is being fostered in Berlin Center, OH. She is about 6 months old. Her adoption fee is $150 and covers: negative tests for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV); spay surgery; age-appropriate vaccines; routine de-worming; topical flea protection, microchip and eye surgery/treatment. Adoption Process
The first step to adopting is to fill out the Online Adoption Application at www.rosesrescue.net. After your application has been reviewed and approved, one of our volunteers will get in touch with you. As long as your application has been pre-approved, the pet's foster parent will set up a time with you to come visit the pet you're interested in. In some cases, a home visit may also be required. If all goes well, you will then sign an adoption contract, pay the adoption fee, and then your new pet is ready to go to its forever home!
