YesMeet Jiya
Meet Jiya, a 2-year-old fluffy lady who never quite grew into her whiskers! At just a fraction of the size of a typical cat, she’s what we like to call a perma-kitten—small but full of charm. And while her funny little old man face might fool you, don’t be mistaken—Jiya is all lady. She loves to observe the world from the comfort of her favorite cat tree, keeping a close watch on everything happening around her. Whether it’s the other cats playing or a human walking by, nothing escapes her keen gaze! If you’re looking for a quirky, tiny companion with an adorably wise expression, Jiya might just be the perfect match for you! Come meet her at the adoption center and let her steal your heart. DOB: 2/7/2023 Come meet me at the cage-free Adoption Center! All cats are spayed or neutered, vaccinated and tested for FIV/FeLV. **If interested in adopting me, please fill out an online adoption application at https://colonycats.org/adoption_app.html to expedite the process. Due to the large number of inquiries received, we are unable to respond to emails quickly.**
Adoption Process
We have an application that requires the potential adopter to wait until their application can be verified. Once everything checks out the adopter comes and picks up their new fur member of the family and signs a contract. One of the highlights of our contract states that if for ANY reason at ANY time they cannot care for the animal, they must return the cat or dog back to Colony Cats (& dogs). Our adoption fees are $100 for kittens (4 months and younger), $85 for kittens 5 or 6 months, $75 for adult cats, $50 for Wise Whiskers (7 years and older). We often have adoption specials where the adoption fees are lowered. The adoption fee includes the animals already being spayed/neutered, Feline Leukemia and FIV tested (cats), heartworm tested (dogs), all vaccinations (FVRCP and DHLPP), rabies vaccine (if kittens or puppies adopted are not old enough to have received a rabies vaccine, then the new owner will need to go to their vet to get this done), microchip, flea/tick/heartworm preventative.
