A friend is looking to find a happy, inside only home for a stray who showed up at her house this past year. Spike, aka Black and White kitty, has been a porch kitty for several months, but now wants an inside home where he can chill and be warm all the time. Spike is neutered (and eartipped), FIV/FLV tested (negative) and had his shots (boosters in 3 weeks). The vet thought he was about 5-6 years old. He has a healthy coat, no ear mites. Spike is very sweet and snuggly, but he really doesn’t get along with the family's other male cat. He would probably be best as an only cat or with a very laidback female cat. He loves people and is a huge love bug who likes snuggles on the couch. He is a lap kitty and would like nothing better than to hang out with you all day. If you would like to find out more about Spike or receive an adoption application, please email us at [email protected]
Adoption Process
Adoption application. We check references and call vet. There is a $75 adoption fee, but all of our cats are sterilized, vaccinated, and tested for feline leukemia/FIV prior to adoption. We do not adopt to anyone who wants to declaw, but we do not advertise that fact until after the person fills out the application--we do not want them to lie to us if they know they cannot get the cat and declaw. We have them sign an agreement that the cat will come back to us if for any reason they do not want it.
