Meet Oscar

To start our adoption process, House of Mews Rescue asks that you please complete our online no-obligation adoption application, which is located on our website under the adopt tab at http://www.houseofmewsrescue.org/adopt.html Should our Adoption Coordinator feel your application is a good fit, a HOM volunteer will reach out to discuss your application with you.  Current on vaccinations, and have tested negative for both FIV ("Feline Immunodeficiency Virus") and FeLV (Feline Leukemia). Oscar is shyer than his brother and will probably hide at first, but warms up! He hides really well but can be enticed by toys, especially those that make noise or are attached to a string. He jumps and grabs for toys on a string and never tires of this game. He loves his scratching post and enjoys sleeping on a cat bed underneath things. Sometimes he will nap with his brother, but only in the highest place, they can find! Although a little shy at first, once he warms up Oscar has the loudest purr for such a tiny little guy and very much enjoys pets and getting his ears and face scratched. Adoption Process
If interested in adopting a House of Mews cat or kitten, please respond to this post, you’ll be asked to complete a no-obligation adoption application, which will be sent to our adoption coordinator for review. A MEWS volunteer will reach out to you to discuss your application within 24-48 hours after an application has been submitted. House of Mews Rescue requires an adoption fee at the time Kittens up to six months $95 or 2 for $150. Kittens over six months $75 or 2 $125 Cats 1 year or older…$50.
