Meet Athos

To start our adoption process, House of Mews Rescue asks that you please complete our online no-obligation adoption application, which is located on our website under the adopt tab at http://www.houseofmewsrescue.org/adopt.html Should our Adoption Coordinator feel your application is a good fit, a HOM volunteer will reach out to discuss your application with you.  Current on vaccinations, and have tested negative for both FIV ("Feline Immunodeficiency Virus") and FeLV (Feline Leukemia). Athos & Aramis are a bonded pair and will be adopted together! Once upon a time, there were three adorable kittens Athos, Aramis, and Porthos, who moved from Kentucky to NE Ohio to find a home.  The flamboyant Portos was adopted shortly after his arrival.  Athos and Aramis had some health issues and were not ready for adoption until now.  The boys were underweight due to severe parasitic infection.  Their new family will need to closely monitor the boys’ weights and appetites to ensure they continue to thrive.  After Porthos left, Athos and Aramis grew very close, and now they are inseparable and have to be adopted together.  Athos and Aramis are energetic, playful, affectionate, gentle, and sweet kittens.  Athos is very curious and adventurous.  He and his brother Aramis consistently try to escape from the foster room any chance they have.  The boys can’t wait to see the world!  Athos loves to hang out with people and purrs contently in any human lap.  He is what one would call a “Velcro Cat.”   Approx. birth date: 7/1/22 Foster: CCL
