Meet Molly, this young mama took great care of her kittens. Now that they have been adopted she is looking for her purrfect home. Molly does great with other cats. She is not a fan of dogs. Molly is becoming more tolerant of sharing space with her foster’s dogs, but would 100% prefer a house without dogs. Molly is fine with kids but she doesn’t love it when they’re in her face. She sits on the couch with her foster and her toddler with no problems. Molly is a sweet girl. She isn’t needy but loves attention and scratches. She will try to eat your food, though. She does great in the car and carrier. She might take a minute to warm up to people, but will be in your lap wanting to snuggle within a short amount of time. DOB: 12/28/2022 **This cat is currently in a foster home and arrangements can be made for a meeting once you have applied with us. All cats are spayed or neutered, vaccinated and tested for FIV/FeLV. If interested in adopting me, please fill out an online adoption application at https://colonycats.org/adoption_app.html to expedite the process. Due to the large number of inquiries received, we are unable to respond to emails quickly.**
Adoption Process
We have an application that requires the potential adopter to wait until their application can be verified. Once everything checks out the adopter comes and picks up their new fur member of the family and signs a contract. One of the highlights of our contract states that if for ANY reason at ANY time they cannot care for the animal, they must return the cat or dog back to Colony Cats (& dogs). Our adoption fees are $100 for kittens (4 months and younger), $85 for kittens 5 or 6 months, $75 for adult cats, $50 for Wise Whiskers (7 years and older). We often have adoption specials where the adoption fees are lowered. The adoption fee includes the animals already being spayed/neutered, Feline Leukemia and FIV tested (cats), heartworm tested (dogs), all vaccinations (FVRCP and DHLPP), rabies vaccine (if kittens or puppies adopted are not old enough to have received a rabies vaccine, then the new owner will need to go to their vet to get this done), microchip, flea/tick/heartworm preventative.
